This Apple and Oats Protein Breakfast Bowl is the ultimate way to start your morning!


Simple, nourishing, and packed with flavour, this recipe combines creamy oats, crisp apple, and a boost of protein to keep you full and energised all day long. It’s a perfect quick bake, so you can make a wholesome breakfast that’s ready when you are.

Equipment needed: knife, saucepan, wooden spoon, bowl


Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 50g of oats
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon (adjust to preference)
  • 70g oats
  • 100g yogurt
  • 20g Free Soul Vegan Protein Blend (Vanilla)
  • Tablespoon of your nut butter of choice

Recipe

  1. Chop your apple into small, bite-size squares and add to a pan with your coconut oil, on medium-high heat
  2. Cover with cinnamon, your maple syrup, splash of water and add in your oats. Give this a good mix until it’s all combined.
  3. Keep stirring until caramelised and the water has evaporated, adding water and cinnamon when needed.
  4. While that is cooking place yogurt into a bowl and add in your protein powder (vanilla is recommended)
  5. Once your apple and oats have turned a golden colour, add them into your yogurt mixture and drizzle on your preferred nut butter.
