Sustainable Fashion Brands To Keep On Your Radar

A room filled with indoor plants and a clothing rail

The fashion industry is responsible for 10% of global carbon emissions. With the increase in concern about the future of the Earth, alongside increased information on the origin of our imported possessions, brands have been made to become more transparent and new sustainable labels have emerged. In regards to the fashion industry, sustainability means moving away from fast fashion and looking at how best to combat negative effects on humans and the environment in bringing garments to consumers. By individually shopping more ethically, consumers are able to make a real impact in reducing the detrimental effects the fashion industry has on our planet. Below is a list of sustainable fashion brands to help move towards a better, more considerate wardrobe.

This brand responsibly sources natural fibres from both plants and animals, with a very transparent and comprehensive website. Furthermore, on each item of clothing, there is an individual QR code that shows the journey of the product, so you can be sure that what you are wearing is ethically sourced!

There is also a section on their website teaching customers how to make the most out of their clothes and to repair rather than replace old items.

Although quite pricey, these clothes are sure to last years as staples in your wardrobe.
