You can also enjoy this for breakfast, as an alternative to toast. Delicious with a spread of nut butter and fresh bananas. This recipe is gluten-free.

1/2 cup buckwheat flour

1/2 cup grounded almonds

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp baking soda

1 cup of dairy-free dark chocolate chips

2 scoops of Free Soul Vanilla vegan protein powder

1/2 cup melted coconut oil

1/2 cup almond milk

2 mashed ripe bananas

Preheat oven at 180 degrees.

Combined all dry ingredients into a bowl.

In a separate bowl whisk coconut oil and milk and then add the mashed bananas.

Add the dry mixture and banana mix together.

Stir in the chocolate chips so they are evenly distributed.

Pro tip: cover the chocolate chips with flour (or gluten-free flour of choice) so they don't sink into the mixture.

Bake on the lower shelf of the oven for 45 mins, leave to cool before you enjoy!
