SOUL FOOD: PROTEIN WALNUT AND SULTANA LOAF

Hey Sistas! 

This loaf is the perfect company during those gloomy afternoons with a cup of team or coffee while you stare at the rain falling outside like the main character that you are.

Protein walnut & sultana loaf 

INGREDIENTS:

20g Free Soul Vanilla Protein

250g Oats

120g Ground Walnuts

1 Egg / Flax Egg

50g Chopped Walnuts

50g Sultanas

3tsp Cinnamon

250ml Oat Milk

2 tsp Vanilla Extract

3tbsp Syrup

1 tsp Baking Powder

 

 

METHOD:

1. Pre-heat oven to 160°C, line & prep tin

2. Blitz oats & walnuts to a fine flour

3. In mixing bowl, mix blitzed oat & walnuts w/ protein, baking

powder, cinnamon, walnuts & sultanas

4. Add egg, oat milk & syrup

5. Pour mixture into lined loaf tin, sprinkle w/ oats & walnuts

6. Bake for 18-20 mins or until the knife comes out clean

7. Leave to cool

8. Enjoy!
