Glazed Red Velvet Protein Cupcakes

Oh my OH MY Red Velvet Free Soul Cupcakes?! @amycousins1 has literally got a million ways to bake with Free Soul and this has GOT to be one of the most delicious ones yet. Put that Zoom call on mute girl, and start whipping this bad boy up, it’s worth it 🧁 

INGREDIENTS

20g Free Soul Chocolate Protein
200g Flour
1tsp Baking Powder
10g Cacao Powder
1-2tsp Red Food Colouring
100g Butter
4tbsp Sweetener
2 Eggs
100g Natural Yoghurt
1tsp Vanilla Extract
40-60ml Oat Milk •

For The Topping

Free Soul Vanilla Protein
Water/ Milk
Pink Sprinkles/ Freeze Dried Strawberries
Grated Chocolate

METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 170, line & spray cupcake tray

2. Combine flour, protein, baking powder, cacao powder & red food colouring

3. In a separate bowl, cream butter & sweetener until smooth

4. Add eggs, yoghurt, vanilla extract, mix until fully combined

5. Spoon mixture into lined cases filling half way

6. Bake for 20-22 mins or until knife comes out clean

7. While cupcakes cool, mix protein powder w/ water to make a glaze

8. Drizzle cupcakes w/ glaze, sprinkle toppings

9. Enjoy
