Chocolate Protein Peanut Butter Snickers

Picture the scene, you bite in and feel that crunch, then comes the first gooey layer, then the second, and then that bottom crunch, oh YES 😍 @mmillyjane delivering a delish treat with these Free Soul Protein Snickers that we’re definitely going to be cooking up a batch of, so we’re ready when those afternoon rumbles kick in. Give this a go ladies!

BASE

2 scoops Free Soul chocolate protein
1 cup of oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
50 grams grams pitted dates (soaked in hot water)
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
FILLING

2 cups of puffed rice
1/2 cup peanut butter 
1 tsp vanilla essence
5 tbsp maple syrup
Vegan Dark Chocolate

METHOD

1. For the base: Blend oats into flour, add coconut, protein and dates and add to a food processor or blender until a thick spreadable consistency

2. Place in a square tin, and press down. Allow to set in freezer while you make the filling

3. Mix the puffed rice, peanut butter, vanilla and maple syrup in a bowl. For extra sweetness add some of the date paste

4. Press over the base layer and leave in the freezer to set

5. Melt two bars of vegan dark chocolate in the microwave. Slice into snicker sized bars and coat in the dark chocolate. Refrigerate or freeze to set
